Mother’s Day & Easter Basket Raffles & Charity Sweep Events

The Mother’s Day Basket donated by Bill & myself raised £120 for our charity and was won by Rob Cowley much to the disappointment of Annie behind the bar who had her eyes on the Slippers which were exactly her size.
The Easter Basket, very kindly made & donated by Mell Holdnall, raised an amazing £209 for our Charity, thanks to all the members who purchased raffle tickets. I hope the winner Gary Tonks enjoyed all of the chocolate as I here he didn’t offer to share it with his playing partners.
Its a shame we Ladies missed out on the Champagne & Slippers but personnally as for the easter chocolate I'd rather the inches go on Gary Tonks hips & thighs rather than mine!!
A big thank you to Annie behind the Bar for Organising the Grand National Sweep & the Golf Masters Sweep with myself LC winning 1st with Tiger Woods, Mr Captain Joint 2nd with Bruce Koepka. £80 from the stake money for these 2 events was kindly given to our Charity.
From these events our charity has been boosted by £410.00 so a big thank you to everyone for there support
